HISTORY:
In a time when scents were worn on a chain rather than on the skin and unsavory odors were frequently found in the street, carrying a pleasant pendant of perfume was a requisite, if you could afford it. Predating sanitation and sewage was an everyday issue that could be generously tamed with the right top notes. Worn by ladies and gentlemen, a bottle-bearing perfume for a pinch was an accessory that symbolized benevolence. Truly, a class act.
