Charlotte Isabelle Newman, is the first known female jeweler to make her mark on Queen Victoria’s Era, by signing her name in garnets and gold, as well as wearing them. A rare occasion indeed as only men of this era were the jewel makers.

Notes: This stunning piece is signed by Mrs. Newman herself with her signature “Mrs. N.” Her work is rare, impeccable and can also be found in the jewelry wing of the British Museum. A sure collector’s piece.
